Vikki Napier is the FIEC HR consultant who can help our pastors / churches be well prepared to manage staff teams and let them flourish as they go about serving Jesus in their local church context.

Vikki will look at:
- Having authentic conversations - teams that are able to have authentic conversations and feel safe to do so are teams that are built on trust and respect. Providing tools to help with these conversations is important.

- Being transparent - dealing with issues as they arise.

  • Performance issues - follow a process early - always with a view to seeing improved performance. 

  • Behavioural issues - likewise, deal with these early. If the behaviour is out of character, try to discern what else is going on for the person.

- Performance management framework. Why is it important? What is it?

Vikki Napier works with FIEC and the Sydney Anglican Diocese as an HR Consultant, helping churches do HR well so their pastors and staff can get on with teaching, training evanglising and discipling people.
