Complementarianism: the view that men and women are equal in value, dignity, and salvation but have distinct roles and responsibilities… but what does it look like week to week in the life of the local church and as men and women work in partnership in Christian ministry?

In this workshop, Andrew Heard and Lesley Ramsay, with additional input from Ruth Sheath, will look at complementarianism in action in the local church. They'll move from principles to action, discussing opportunities and challenges, as well as sharing stories and practical tips.

Andrew Heard is the Senior Pastor of EV Church on the NSW Central Coast and Chair of FIEC. Together with his wife, Cathie, Andrew has been applying a complementarian framework to Christian ministry for over 30 years.

Lesley Ramsay has been in local church ministry with her husband, Jim, for 47 years. She has a vast experience in helping people understand complementarianism and how it works out in the local church.
